Uni room tour

I love my bedroom! In fact I love both my bedrooms, my room at home home and my room at university. Both of them are totally different in colour and layout, which it what I really like. I have been in this room for just over a year now and I think I will really miss it when I move out in June :(
So first thing you see when you walk in is my bed. Unfortunately for some reason my phone wont upload the photo which is slightly annoying but never mind. When I first moved in I couldn't really remember what size the bed was exactly, so I guessed double! When I got here I realised it was a KING SIZE - new bedding was purchased, luckily we didn't leave it too late.

I am very fortunate to have so many mirrors in my room, 5 to be exact! But this is my fave of them all - my Grandma bought me these cute fairy lights from Debenhams two years ago - I think they were about £20 which isn't too bad for fairy lights like this, I've seen them for a lot more else where. I really think fairy lights are a brilliant way of dressing up a room and making it really pretty and cosy.

Obviously being a student my desk is really important for umm ... studying? I don't really like sitting at this desk, once my printer went on there along with my lamp there wasn't much room on there. My desk is really handy for all my notebooks, and stationary. Being in my final year I think most of my time will be spent in the library anyway, so I don't think I'll have to worry about needing it. The heart photo holder is one of my favourite things that I own - Alex bought it for me last year for our anniversary. I had wanted one for ages so I was really happy when he gave it to me - I think it was from Amazon, possibly Sass and Belle! The bunting which goes around my room is from a really cute shop in Canterbury called Siesta - they sell all kinds of ethnic and fair trade products. The bunting was £8 which is really cheap considering its quality.

Although I don't have a TV licence I do have a roku box and my dad very kindly pays for netflix and now tv for me :) I love watching films and sometimes just have the tv on for a bit of company. I do have a lot of pictures around my bedroom, to stop me getting home sick. Being at the other end of the country can be quite hard sometimes but having all my family around me in pictures is nice to remember all the happy memories with my family, friends and Alex.
My book shelf is another of my favourite things in my room, I love adding new books to my collection (I've become a bit of a hoarder)!!Under my book shelf is where I keep all of my make-up and jewellery, at my parents home my chest of draws is much bigger so I can fit much more on, but this is more than enough room for now!

These are just two things in my room which I love :) I bought the two boxes before I came to uni. I got them from Laura Ashley in the sale for £16. At the time I thought it was quite expensive, but I had been eyeing them up for ages I just splurged. They have been worth every penny though. I use the smaller box for my note paper and cards for when I write letters and the larger one is for letters and cards I receive! I think they are so pretty and I hope I'll be able to find room for them at home when I move out!
The heart is one of the presents my mum bought me for my birthday! I am a collector of hearts and have lots of them dotted around my room. This one hangs above my bed, it has bells all over it so sometimes if I knock it in the night I get a little scared haha!!

I hope you have liked this little taster of my room!! Let me know what you think, do you have anything similar in your bedroom??
